Rebeca Cabrera

She deals with the evaluation of governance, public accounting, and comparative measurement of transparency, anti-corruption and efficiency of Public Administrations.

She graduated in Economics at Central American University in Nicaragua and later obtained a Master's degree in Bank Management, from the American University in Nicaragua. In 2021, she received her Master's degree in Economics: Global Development and Entrepreneurship from Ca' Foscari University in Venice. She was awarded the Riccardo Faini Prize 2022, an award from the Department of Economics at Ca'Foscari University to graduates with the five best master's theses.

From 2012 to 2018, she held numerous positions in finance at the Bank of National Development of Nicaragua and in the private banking sector. She also collaborated with Ca' Foscari University of Venice as a research fellow in statistics and economics, and has been working with Fondazione Etica since 2021. She is co-author of an article in the book V Ca'Foscari Report on Municipalities 2022 - Municipalities in the face of the PNRR challenge, which analyzes the forecast of the financial criticality of Italian Municipalities.
